Before starting any of these side hustles, you have to decide if you want to do something with inventory or no inventory. What I do has no inventory. Also, you have to figure out what you are passionate about. For instance, I like wearing makeup, but I’m not passionate about it. I’m more passionate about helping others live their days as they please.

With the risen popularity of this business module, you as an Airbnb host can make an easy 100k USD per year. Let me explain this,
There are two ways you can go about owning an Airbnb property.
- You can come up with the money to purchase the property and
- If you’re short on funds and have an extra room, you can turn it into an Airbnb that will make money for you on the side.
Why would you be interested in this business model? Let’s look at numbers since numbers don’t lie.
If your location is great and your marketing skills are on another level, you can easily charge at least 300 dollars a night. If you aim at always maintaining an occupancy rate of 80 percent of your bookings at all times, boy, oh boy, that is a clean 7200 dollars a month translating to $86,400 a year.

This is quite interesting.
What I would suggest you do is, first of all, do market research. I mean, you don’t want to be caught stuck with dead stock.
After you’ve done your research, go to sites like alibaba.com and talk to a few suppliers who can send your targeted items to the Amazon warehouse.
With this, you have to invest a sum of money since you have to buy the goods and deliver them to the Amazon warehouse. Once your products have been listed and a customer places an order, Amazon will fulfill the order and pay you your cut.
As much as this sounds like a pretty easy business, I’m afraid a little bit of elbow grease is required. You have to market your products like your life is dependent on it. In a way, it does, since you’re trying to make an income that will enable you to stay at home and look after your family.
Pro tip
Create a TikTok account and post about your products as often as you can. Should your products go viral, you, my friend, will be smiling all the way to the bank.
Create an Online Course
I know you’ve heard this like a million times but wait a minute.
Online courses are slowly getting popular, and they will be a big deal in the future.
Personally, I have 1 online course whereby am teaching people the basics of online writing. You might think that everybody knows this stuff. Well, you’re wrong. There is a demand for such courses and it would be prudent if you jumped on the bandwagon and start having an income-generating machine while you focus more on the important stuff.
How to do this:
Package the information that you are already knowledgeable in and make it easier for someone else to replicate your success. People will be more than happy to give you their money to teach them what they see you as a success in.
As I said earlier, I’m currently offering an online course and as much as I don’t spend so much time advertising it, I still make a decent amount every month from this course.
Blogging
Contrary to what other people might be saying, Old-fashioned blogging is still alive and thriving.
If you provide valuable content on a regular basis, you attract like-minded people interested in your niche information and products.
Well, this one takes some creativity, you will need a good site to host a WordPress site and know what topics to write on.
Ask yourself a few of these questions:
- What topic gets you so excited that you want to talk about it with friends and family every day?
- What topic would you write about (possibly for years) for an audience?
- Have you ever stayed up way too late, thinking about or working on any particular project because you wanted to? What topic was that project related to?
Once you have these figured out, I promise you that the demand is there.
However, to build a successful blog, you have to love what you’ll be creating content about.
It’s not always going to be easy, and the only way you’ll get through the inevitable difficulties is by having a genuine connection to what you’re blogging about.
Let me ask you a question! What’s going to happen after you’ve published a handful of blog posts in your first few weeks and you still haven’t attracted many readers?
You’ll probably give up. I should know I did the same.
Start by writing about what you love. First for yourself, then share with the people who most support you. Grow organically from there.

Start a YouTube
I know so many people on the “oh Youtube is not for me since I’m not comfortable behind the camera” bandwagon.
Well, I’ve got news for you. You don’t need to show yourself on camera to start a YouTube Channel.
So many successful YouTubers that don’t show their face on camera.
I’m pretty sure that you have something that you’re quite knowledgeable about. Maybe you’re a great chef, show off those fantastic dishes. Maybe you’re a DIYer and you never have to rely on anyone to come fix for you anything that is broken in your house. Girl, go for it.
There is money that you’re leaving on the table just because you don’t want to start a YouTube channel. What if I told you that there are several ways you can make money off YouTube even without Adsense?

I love this one since the bulk of my income comes from it
There are so many services you can provide in exchange for money. But what I’m personally doing is,
VA and Copywriting.
I’ve made over $2000 a month as a freelance writer, and whenever I have an excess of work, I outsource to trusted fellow writers.
Stop overthinking and limiting yourself. All you need is to learn a new skill and capitalize it. I had to grab a few courses that taught me how to be a copywriter and write articles that clients would love and pay top dollar for.
All you need to do is sign up on sites like Upwork and Fiverr and list your services. You’re not going to reinvent the wheel so just look at other listings and frame yours as per those.
Once you get the handle of things, have bagged yourself some clients and you have decent ratings, you can ask for top dollars in exchange for your services.
Start an Airbnb Property Management Company
Most people hate having to keep up with the maintenance and work involved in the day-to-day running of their Airbnb. I for one and most homeowners find this tiring. You have to ensure a clean environment for your guests, get them checked in and out, if they have any requests you have to be able to cater for them so that you can ensure a great guest experience in your property. You know anything negative can ruin your ratings and we don’t want that.
Why this module is viable
If you’re a management company, you would take home a cut off their earnings. For example, you have an agreement on getting 20 per cent off their earnings and the Airbnb manages to make at least 100k a year that’s a cool 20k for your hard work.
So what I would personally do is to start off small and just manage an Airbnb or 2. Just contact a bunch of local owners and ask them if they’re interested in your services. You might get a couple of no’s but that shouldn’t deter you or break your heart. Just push on because once you get your golden YES then your company is off on the right track. You can set up a website and/ or socials. If you have the budget put up some ads on your socials to increase the chances of someone who’s in the need of your service coming across your ads.
Virtual Assistant
As I had mentioned earlier, I am a virtual assistant as well so I know this is a very lucrative on-demand business nowadays.
So basically, a VA helps business owners with small tasks. This can be a very great remote work type of a side hustle.
Virtual assistants do all sorts of stuff like helping the business owner with answering emails, handling socials, or scheduling meetings.
My strategy, if you’re starting out, is this,

Also, you can list your services for free on Fiverr and Upwork as well.

A quick search on Upwork reveals that VA rates are from 15 dollars an hour all the way to 100 dollars an hr. Try to gauge how much you can charge for the value that you’re giving your client.
Influencer Management
This doesn’t need any introduction so I will hop straight into the strategy I would use if I wanted to set this up.
Email a bunch of influencers and talk to them about your services. One of the services you can help them with is to make them more money. I mean, have you ever heard of a person who doesn’t need more money. Let them know that you can speak to brands on their behalf for sponsorship deals and once you close the deal for them you’d expect a certain percentage as your cut.
Again numbers don’t lie. For example, if you were to agree with this influencer that for every contract you help them sign you’d be getting 10 to 15 per cent of the pay, and the influencer lands a sponsorship deal of 10k that’s a clean 1k to 1500 dollars. If you manage 10 influencers, friends this is mind-blowing.
There is so much demand for influencer managers, don’t overthink it just believe in yourself and you can change your life in 6 months or so.
Print on Demand
In this, we will talk about Merch by Amazon
This is Amazon’s print-on-demand program. The process is quite simple. You get to design your products and then add your product listings on Amazon’s catalog as a jpeg or png. When a customer searches on the Amazon database and comes across your listing and places an order, Amazon will process the order, print it, and ship it to the customer. You as the product designer will get a royalty.
This is a great way of getting your feet wet with e-commerce without incurring huge upfront costs with having to purchase physical merch then wait for the orders to come in.
You don’t have to open a brick-and-mortar store and have a physical inventory to make money. By using Merch by Amazon almost anyone can make money. In my opinion, this is the best business model since the barrier to entry is pretty low. You just have to design your product, get it listed on Amazon and do the SEO legwork so that your merch can be found by potential customers.
Another platform to consider selling your print-on-demand products is Etsy .

If you cut off all distractions and just focus on personal development and growth, you’d be surprised by just how much you can accomplish in 6 months. Your life can literally change in 6 months, I kid you not.
