Dear Weary Mom,
I see you.
In the quiet moments when the world is asleep and you’re lying in bed, overwhelmed by the weight of it all, I see you.
When the days feel endless, and your strength is stretched thin, I understand. I have walked in your shoes, felt the same heaviness, and questioned if I could go on.

But, my dear friend, there is hope, and there is light.
Years ago, I too was lost, downcast, and weary beyond words. Life’s challenges had me in a grip so tight, I could barely breathe. In those dark times, it felt like I was walking through a never-ending tunnel with no light in sight. Yet, it was in that very tunnel that I found something extraordinary: the unfailing love and promises of God.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) This verse became my lifeline. In the depths of my exhaustion, I reached out, and He was there, offering solace and strength I never knew I could possess.
As I began to lean into His promises, a transformation took place. God, in His infinite mercy, turned my sorrow into joy and my weariness into renewed vigor.
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:31) I clung to these words, and they became a source of power and peace.
Dear mom, it’s okay to feel tired. It’s okay to admit you’re weary. This journey is not about being perfect but about finding strength in our imperfections and weariness. You are not alone. God’s arms are wide open, ready to embrace you, ready to renew your spirit.
Lean on Him. Trust in His faithfulness, for He has promised never to leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). In Him, you will find the strength to rise each day, to care for your loved ones, and to pursue your dreams with a renewed heart.
You are capable. You are loved. And through God’s unwavering promises, you can overcome any weariness that comes your way. Hold on to His words, and let them be the light that guides you through the darkest of times.
With all my heart,
Furaha
